CPLP Executive Secretary Dr. Zacarias da Costa ‘intervention at the UN Human Rights Commission, on the need to recognize a Stable Climate as a Common Heritage of Humankind


The Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), Dr. Zacarias da Costa, took part in the High-Level Segment of the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN), from 24 to 28 February 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland. During his speech on 25 February 2025, the CPLP Executive Secretary talks about the climate crisis and the need to recognize a stable climate as a common heritage of humankind (minute 3'35’’), a CPLP project to be extended to its partners.
